Bangarang

Song: Bangarang
Artist: Skrillex
Meet Skrillex
Ok, yes this is a dub song, but if you really want to dig deep here, and I know its a bit of a stretch, but there might be some meaning here.

All bass drops and heavy modulated bass lines aside, there ARE lyrics in there if you are willing to accept it.

Lines like "take me under" and "they say I lost my marbles" can suggest a feeling, acute enough and somewhat gangster. But its meaning between those strong bass lines and snares.

This song is a parallel to "Peter Pan"

Album Cover
Skrillex repeatedly sends shout outs to his lost boys so he apparently is Peter Pan. Also There is the well known last boy that has "lost his marbles" as seen in the movie Hook.

Skrillex also mentions the "Boss boys". Suggesting deteriorating dreams. When children start to become adults and face reality. And for some it is the evolution from a "lost boy" to a "boss boy".

Be warned, this music video may be epic
The change in culture these days is also shown. From the innocence of the children in the 80s and 90s watching these animated films and believing them to be true. The purity that these children contained is very much contrasting with the last verse of this song:
"They say I lost my marbles
But I got these beats coming out the back of my toy car
Yo, im eating fun dip right now, not giving a fuck"

This final demonstrated the mentality of children in the world today. They no longer have strong morals and naiveté of past generations. This may have to do with an objective of trying to be a "boss boy" and becoming "rowdy" as Skrillex would put it.
